Due to the size and layout of the space, we require clients to arrive unaccompanied unless a guardian or caretaker is necessary. We are unable to accommodate large items such as strollers or bicycles. Please ensure your mobile devices are silenced upon arrival; if you must take a call, we ask that you step outside, keeping in mind this may affect your appointment time. Given the limited size of our studio, we kindly ask all clients to be mindful of their noise levels. Loud conversations or excessive noise can disrupt the experience of others, including clients receiving services and stylists. It is important to keep conversations at a respectful volume to avoid disturbing those around you. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a comfortable environment for everyone. APPOINTMENT BOOKING *To ensure a smooth and timely experience for everyone, please be mindful of your own schedule when booking a stylists time. All stylists at Geist Hair Studio operate independently and manage their own schedules. Please contact your stylist directly for booking, modifications, or cancellations. The studio does not manage appointments. Stylists may have individual policies; direct any policy-related inquiries to your stylist. CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling (48 hours is appreciated). Late cancellations will incur a fee equal to 50% of the scheduled service(s) This also applies to partial service cancellations. Adjustments must be made via the booking site or by contacting your stylist directly. Any fee incurred must be paid before rebooking. LATE ARRIVALS Clients arriving 10 or more minutes late for their appointment may forfeit part or all of their scheduled services. All Cancellation, Rescheduling, and No-Show Policies apply. NO SHOWS Missed appointments without notice will be charged 100% of the scheduled service. This fee must be paid before rebooking. CHILDREN Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. For children under 13, please consult your stylist before booking, as not all offer children’s services. Due to safety and space limitations, infants and toddlers are not permitted in the studio. Please do not leave unattended children in the waiting area (See Studio Environment Policy above). HEALTH & SAFETY If you are experiencing any cold or flu-like symptoms, have recently tested positive or have been in contact with someone with suspected or confirmed COVID, FLU, RSV, or any other communicable disease, or contagion (head lice, etc.) please reschedule your appointment. 🐾 PETS & SERVICE ANIMALS We are committed to providing a welcoming and comfortable environment for all our clients. In accordance with Massachusetts Disability Rights Law and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), we gladly welcome ADA-recognized service animals in our salon. Please Note: • Service animals are permitted to accompany their owners, as they are specifically trained to assist with disabilities. • However, emotional support animals (ESAs), therapy animals, and personal pets are not allowed in the studio. The studio is a space to disconnect from the busyness of the day and the woes of the world; we aim to create an environment of mindfulness and peace. The policies that are in place are to ensure that we continue to grow towards just that.
